Send your child to our School’s Out Elementary Craft Camp! We’ll use our creativity with arts and crafts, play games, build friendships, and explore downtown Carlisle.
Happy Go Creative Studio is located at 2 E. Liberty Ave. Carlisle, PA 17013
2025-2026 Camps will run from 8:30am-5:00pm, with flexible pickup and drop off times.
Your family can utilize camp for the hours that work for you! Many kids come 9-3pm. Do whatever works for you!

What makes our camps special?
We are enrolling only 14 children into our 2025-2026 School’s Out Camp Cohort, so we can focus on building a tight-knit community of consistent students for the entire school year. This will allow for deeper friendships and more meaningful experiences.
Because our program will have a small group of consistent kids for the school year, we can really get to know your child and can tailor projects to their interests, while also working on year long skill building.
We offer a very child-centered program and love to give kids a lot of creative free-time so that they can pursue and develop their interests.

Our camps are best suited for children who:
Enjoy calmer environments, doing art, and playing games. Children are permitted to move freely throughout the studio, but we are not set up for BIG body movements and rambunctious play. (Though we will go outside for a walk/play every day that weather permits to get bigger energy out.)
Love crafting and playing games. In addition to our daily group projects, we will have a lot of open-ended creative free time. Campers regularly tell us that the creative free time is their favorite part of the day.
Yes, our camp is for girls AND boys. If your child enjoys doing creative projects, this program is for them!

Camp Schedule
Our camp schedule follows the Carlisle School District calendar and we will host camp for 20 of the 31 days off.
Camp days exclude: Labor Day, Day Before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving & Day After, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Day After Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and January 2nd, Memorial Day.
Our camp schedule overlaps for 10-12 days off with South Middleton, Camp Hill, Cumberland Valley, Big Spring, and Saint Pats School Districts. (If you are interested and from one of these schools, contact me for pricing.)

Commitment
We have only 14 spots available in our 2025-2026 School's Out Camp Cohort (but fewer than 14 spots left!)
Cohort members are entitled to attend any or all 20 camp days (weather/illness permitting.)
I've calculated annual pricing based on 15 camp days at $75/day (divided evenly by 10 monthly payments). This means that if you attend every camp, you get 5 free camps, and if you miss a few, I've already factored that into pricing so you aren't losing out.
I have limited spots available for families outside of CASD that would like to commit to the overlapping 10-12 days. Please contact me for pricing.
Cohort members will be invoiced monthly from August to May, with payment due on the 1st of each month.
Cohort members commit for the 10 month school year to pay $110/mo/child. You are not paying specifically per camp, but for the program year, divided by 10 monthly payments.
$50 registration and supply fee/child to secure your spot.

Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Rachel!
I have been working with children for over 20 years and am a mom of 2 school aged children. In addition to working with kids at my studio, I’ve worked as a nutrition educator in Philadelphia schools, in a Forest School Program, have taught homeschoolers, and spent many (many!) years babysitting and nannying. I love creating opportunities for kids to explore freely and grow their skills and confidence through art making.
I believe that children are capable learners (and teachers!) and I am committed to treating each child in my programs with respect and honoring their agency.
I have up to date state clearances as well as am CPR/First Aid Certified.
We always have a qualified helper for (at minimum) the portions of the day when we go outside.
